CRIMINAL APPEAL

Defendant:
Neil Turner

I. Statement of Claim
On May 7th, 2024, Neil Turner was arrested connected to a robbery of the Legion Square Bank. My Client Neil Turned at no time had knowledge of the bank happening or took part in the kidnapping of the civilian used to gain leverage against the officers. While my client did potentially act as a pick up driver for the original individuals who robbed the bank he never had knowledge of the acts they have committed till inside of the jail cells of MRPD.

While in the cells of MRPD my client was charged with Carrying a Firearm Without a License. My client at no time did ever have a firearm in their possession when this charge directly states that the individual must have a “firearm” on them. In our definitions within the penal code our firearm classifications of class 1, 2, and 3 are stated as LETHAL weapons, while my client was arrested with a taser registered to his own person.

Based on these facts of the case we wish to take this case to court to seek true justice for my client for these false charges which have been placed upon him.

Just for clarification: all four charges are being pursued?

Yes, we are appealing at this time all four charges, as my client pled not guilty previously for them all.

Shall we start discussing time and date for trial?

My clients availability is usually between 5pm-12am PST on most days.
My availability is pretty similar to theirs, but I won't be available till most likely after 6PM PST most days.

Hi all -

Apologies for being late to the party, but I'm going to go ahead and assign myself to this case. Looks like we've already started trying to find a date/time, so we're on the right path.

Based on what's above, I can be available from 6pm - 8 pm PST most weekdays. And on weekends I have much more flexibility.

I'm waiting for confirmation from a potential witness, but I am available 4PM to 7-8 PM PST (7-10/11 EST) on Weekdays.
